Marian’s Galasso will play volleyball at Kings College

Marian High School senior Antonia Galasso will continue academic and athletic careers at Kings College.

Galasso will major in business management and play volleyball for the Monarchs.

Galasso was a four-year member of the Fillies’ volleyball program, where she was part of three teams that played for a state championship.

During her senior season, Galasso helped the Fillies win Schuylkill League and District 11 championships, and finish second in the state in Class 1A. Galasso’s performance led to her being named first-team Schuylkill League, first-team District 11, and first-team All-State.

In addition to volleyball, Galasso has been a four-year member of the Marian softball team. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, the Green Club, PAWS, the yearbook staff, FBLA, she is a student ambassador, a Eucharistic Minister, and an alter server.

Antonia is the daughter of Doreen and Mike Galasso of Lehighton.
