Marian Catholic Class of 1979 reunion

The Marian Catholic High School Class of 1979 will hold its 40th reunion festivities on Aug. 30 and 31.

Class members will gather at 6 p.m. on Aug. 30 at the Marian High School football game against Jim Thorpe in the 1979 reunion tent. Complimentary beverages will be served. The game begins at 7 p.m.

On Aug. 31, the class will hold an open house at 3:30 p.m. in the high school. Guided tours will be held by student ambassadors. The event is open only to the Class of 1979.

Following the tours, at 4:30 p.m., there will be a Mass in the school chapel, and at 5:30 p.m., the reunion will take place at Basile’s Restaurant, 401 Claremont Ave., Route 309, Hometown. It will be a buffet dinner with open bar.
