Mauch Chunk Museum & Cultural Center

As part of the celebration of Jim Thorpe’s Bicentennial, Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center board member Vince Hydro will present a slideshow entitled: “Mauch Chunk 200 Years Ago.”

This talk and visual presentation will cover the history of the Mauch Chunk location from about 1750 to 1830, and will be held in the museum ballroom at 2 p.m. on June 23.

The talk is open to the public free of charge, although donations will gladly be accepted.

Additional slideshows are being developed for future presentations.
