MCHA plans trip to Museum of the American Revolution
The Monroe County Historical Association will offer a bus trip fundraiser to the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia on April 12. The trip includes general admission to the museum with a special guided program titled “Philadelphia: A Revolutionary City,” and chartered bus transportation.
The Museum of the American Revolution is located three blocks from the Independence National Historical Park, featuring Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Guests will have time to explore Historic Philadelphia independently following the museum visit.
Lunch is not included, however a list of nearby restaurants will be provided.
Ticket prices are discounted for historical association members. The chartered bus will depart from BJ’s Wholesale Club, Route 611 in Stroudsburg, at 7:30 a.m. and will return by approximately 6:30 p.m.
Reservations with payment must be made by March 30.
