Meet the Schuylkill candidates

The Eastern Schuylkill Democratic Club will host a Meet the Candidates Night at 7 p.m. on April 15. The meeting will be held at the Tamaqua Elks Lodge, 201 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Enter through the Nescopec Street side entrance.

County candidates who have confirmed they will be there are: Gary Hess and Joe Palubinsky for the commissioner race; Catherine Mahon for treasurer; Mark Atkinson for prothonotary; Ron Pellish for clerk of courts; Joe Ferraro for register of wills; and Deb Detweiler for coroner.

The event is open to the public.

Club members will meet prior to the candidate meeting, beginning at 6 p.m.
