Mid Penn Bank seeks regulatory approval to create Hazle Township branch

Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp Inc., is seeking regulatory approval to open a new branch in Hazle Township, Luzerne County, at 1213 N. Church St.

The bank recently submitted an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities and to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp..

The bank will provide personal banking, business banking and lending services at the Hazle Township office.

Mid Penn currently has 38 branches in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Fayette, Lancaster, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northumberland, Schuylkill and Westmoreland counties.
