The body of a Montgomery man missing since last week has been discovered.

Jeremy Cosmi, 25, of Souderton, was found Tuesday night, according to a group set up in his memory on Facebook.

Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller confirmed this morning that a body was found.

“Fern Ridge state police said they found the body, and the autopsy is going on right now,” Miller said this morning.

Miller would not say if the death is considered suspicious or other details.

Fern Ridge State Police said that a report was not complete.

Cosmi was last seen at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 in the area of Towamensing Trails Road and Route 534 in Albrightsville.

Officials previously said he was possibly suffering from a head injury and in need of medical attention.

On Sunday more than 100 volunteers searched for Cosmi in Penn Forest Township.

Comments
It is sad he was found dead, but thankfully he was found in a timely manner. Maybe Jim Thorpe PD should take some classes from PSP Fern Ridge and learn how to do their job. Saying you did on TV13 and actually doing it are two different things.
