Monroe business cited by PLCB

A Monroe County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

LongHorn Steakhouse, 300 Crossroads Mall, Bartonsville, Stroud Township, was cited on Sept. 21 for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
