Published September 28. 2018 08:32AM

A contractor from Brodheadsville who accepted money to do a job for an 86-year-old Sciota man and then failed to deliver on that obligation, has been charged with theft by state police at the Stroudsburg barracks.

Paul Rogouski, 51, is facing the charge after failing to complete a construction job for which he accepted $1,900, police said.

Police said he signed a contract and accepted the money to do the job at a residence along Apple Drive, Hamilton Township. It is alleged he failed to purchase materials and complete the terms of the contract.
