Monroe County man faces drug charges
Pocono Mountain Regional Police say they found drugs inside a man’s home after they smelled marijuana during an investigation.
According to a news release issued Monday, police filed charges after a search that took place on Sept. 7 at a home on Greenwood Drive in Tobyhanna Township.
Officers were on scene when they smelled marijuana. They conducted a search after reportedly gaining consent from the resident, locating prescription pills, marijuana, liquid THC and bath salts.
They charged 27-year-old Michael J. Polanco with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
