Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred at 2:58 p.m. on Saturday in the 900 block of Burger Hollow Road in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to the area for a report of an unwanted, unknown intoxicated man passed out outside a residence.

On scene troopers found Robert Faust, 29, of Kunkletown. He was taken into custody for DUI and transported to the county DUI center for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
