Monroe driver in Lehigh crash

A Monroe County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 10:31 a.m. Monday along Interstate 78 in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Marilyn L. Koreyva, 45, of Tobyhanna, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu westbound and attempting to negotiate a right curve when she said she felt a rattling coming from the car. The Malibu left the road on the right side and struck what was left of a broken traffic sign post. The car came to rest in a grassy area of the off-ramp at Route 222.

Koreyva and her passenger, Brandon L. Koreyva, 24, of Tobyhanna, were not injured. The Malibu had to be towed.
