Motorcyclist injured in Lower Towamensing
A man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon near 270 Little Gap Road in Aquashicola.
State police at Lehighton said Bradlee J. Clewell, no age or residence given, was driving a black Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle at a high rate of speed west on Little Gap Road when he struck a Jeep driven by Mark A. Amorim at 4:50 p.m. Police said the vehicles were attempting to make a left turn.
Clewell was flown from the scene to St. Luke’s University campus in Bethlehem. Police said he had extensive injuries.
Assisting at the scene were Aquashicola Fire Company, Palmerton Ambulance, Lehighton Ambulance, Blue Ridge and All-Points Towing. Police didn’t indicate whether Amorim was injured.
