Mount Pocono man faces drug charges

Published July 06. 2018 08:28AM

A Mount Pocono man faces drug-related charges after police found him in his vehicle with marijuana.

According to Nesquehoning police, Samuel F. Caston, 19, of Knob Road, was parked on the 600 block of East Railroad Street. Police had been at that location for a call of possible drug activity related to a parked vehicle a few cars ahead of Caston’s.

Officer Timothy Wuttke noticed a man sitting in a Dodge Neon a few cars away from the car in question during his check and spoke to the driver, identified as Caston, who said he was there to meet someone from a dating site.

A search of Caston’s car found marijuana in a gum container in the driver’s side door.

Caston faces charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
