Museum hosts open house

The Lansford Historical Society museum will kick off its summer season with an open house Sunday. Many new items and exhibits will be in display. It is also the last chance to see the museum’s Memorial Day display, which includes items from World War I through Vietnam.

Author Jeannie Pasalawsky will be signing her book “The Rosary that Grew Flowers” about the 1928 miracle in Lansford.

The open house will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The museum is located at 117 E. Bertsch St. Admission is always free, and refreshments will be provided. The museum is open from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays year round from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. June to October. For more information, contact Bill Harleman at 570-617-4683.
