Nesquehoning police report

Nesquehoning police released the charges and citations officers issued during the month of June. They include:

• Vera Bird of Rhume Street was charged with scattering rubbish for throwing garbage from the waste receptacles around New Columbus Park.

• Christopher Gargcia of Donald Avenue, Middletown was charged for driving while his license is suspended.

• Isaih Thomas Sommerville of South Street, Lehighton, was charged with careless driving and driving while under suspension after he was clocked doing 97 mph in a 55-mph zone.

• Traffic citations issued: six for speeding; one for a license violation; four violations for operating a tractor-trailer on a prohibited roadway; one for passing in a no passing zone; and two expired registrations.
