New Jim Thorpe tax collector sworn in
Trish Spillman is sworn in Thursday night as tax collector in Jim Thorpe Borough by Mayor Michael Sofranko. Looking on is Councilwoman Edith Lukasevich. Spillman will finish the term of Terry McElmoyle, who resigned the position last month. McElmoyle’s term runs until the end of 2021.
