New to Medicare educational program
Blue Mountain Health System will co-sponsor a New to Medicare Educational Program with the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging at 6 p.m. Thursday and at 1:30 p.m. June 12. Both programs will be at the Bowmanstown Medical Plaza, 512 Bank St., Bowmanstown.
The New to Medicare program is an educational program to help people entering Medicare for the first time to better understand this comprehensive health care program.
Representatives from the Carbon County Area Agency on Aging will provide a general introduction to Medicare, which includes Medicare Parts A, B & C; Medicare supplemental insurance (Medi-Gap policies); Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).
There is no cost to attend the program, but register at 610-377-7070.
