New state trooper assignments

Commencement exercises for the 151st graduating class from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey were held March 23 at Bishop McDevitt High School. A total of 92 men and women cadets have now been assigned to their first troop.

Locally, the new troopers include cadets from Schuylkill, Monroe and Lehigh counties. Their assignments are:

Troop J in Lancaster — Trevor N. Gauntlett of Schuylkill County;

Troop L in Reading — Michael F. Vinitski of Schuylkill County;

Troop H in Harrisburg — Erik E. Campbell of Lehigh County;

Troop N in Hazleton — Joseph M. Maletz III and Adam J. Thieling, both of Monroe County.
