New York woman charged in incident

A New York state woman has been charged following an incident at a Carbon County business.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to the Pocono Whitewater business, located along Route 903, in Penn Forest Township, about 6:30 p.m. on July 30 for a report of a cash register being thrown at an employee.

Troopers said all parties were identified, the victim a 20-year-old female from Jim Thorpe, and the suspect, Marianela Seabrooks, 40, of Glendale. Seabrooks was charged with disorderly conduct.
