NH fugitive found in Carbon jail

A Carbon County inmate faces one charge after it was found he was a fugitive.

John Steven Forian, 54, was charged by Nesquehoning police with arrest prior to requisition.

According to police, on June 20, officers were contacted by the county prison because there was a fugitive from justice, identified as Forian, in the prison.

On June 24, police spoke with Forian who said he was wanted out of Rockingham County, New Hampshire, for failure to appear in court and asked to be extradited back to New Hampshire.

He told police that he has serious health issues and has a young son who he cannot see until he gets back to New Hampshire.
