No. 9 Mine open for the season

The No. 9 Mine & Museum in Lansford is now open for the season.

The oldest tourable mine in the country at 163 years, the No. 9 is located at 9 Dock St. in Lansford.

The mine and museum will be open Friday-Sunday during April. Starting in May, they will be open Wednesday-Sunday.

Museum hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. with mine tours from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Group tours are also available.
