No injuries reported in Route 902 school bus crash
A Kuhn Transportation school bus was involved in a crash on Route 902 in Mahoning Township Tuesday morning.
None of the seven students or the driver were injured, according to Mahoning Township Police.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. when a bus transporting students to Mahoning Academy (the former Mahoning Elementary) drove off the right side of the road, breaking a utility pole, a speed limit sign and mailboxes.
The vehicle sustained minor damage to the right side headlight but was driven from the scene.
The driver, a 55-year-old woman from Jim Thorpe, underwent a blood test for drugs and alcohol, which is pending. However police said they did not suspect that drugs and alcohol were a factor.
