July 20, 1967 Bernard Bott's single in the bottom of the sixth inning scores George Lazorick with the winning run as Jim Thorpe gains a 4-3 walk-off win over Beaver Banks in the District 18 Little League tournament. Bott finishes with three hits in the contest and also scores a run. George Albert records the mound win, allowing two walks while striking out nine.
