Agnes would have been delighted

Cindy Nanovic forwarded us this article about the anniversary of Mauch Chunk Lake.

I then forwarded on to my brothers and sister.

Mother (Agnes McCartney) loved her Carbon County and all of its natural resources and beauty. She would be so delighted to read your article celebrating the creation of the Lake for both its recreational uses but more importantly for its flood control. It was a wonderful retrospective that brought back memories of a great lady that we are proud to call Mom!
