July 21, 1977 Paul Ruzicka finishes with three hits, one a homer, and Wally O'Donnell pitches a one-hitter to lead Tamaqua to a 7-4 win over McAdoo in the Distrist 18 Little League tournament. O'Donnell, who strikes out six batters, also collects two hits at the plate. Ruzicka knocks in a pair of runs while Todd Lepage and Jeffrey Oakes each add a double and run scored. Howie Miller chips in with a hit and RBI.
