JT Red gets LL split

Jim Thorpe Red rolled to an easy victory over Weatherly in an 11-12 year-old Panther Valley Little League Tournament game.

Zach Searfoss, Aaron Lienhard, Trevor Hickey, Nate DeMarco, AJ Pompa, Carter Wolfe, Nate Saxe, Derrick Beckham, and Jarrin Geisinger all had multiple hit games for JT Red.

Hickey was the winning pitcher.

For Weatherly, Knepper, MacNeal and Hinkle all had two hits.

Franklin Twp.-JT Red

Franklin Township posted a 7-2 victory over Jim Thorpe Red in an 11-12 year-old Panther Valley Little League Tournament game.

Frank Bokan was 3-for-3 to lead Franklin Township offensively. Nolan Wentz and Zach Crum both chipped in two hits.

Haris Cokalija was the winning pitcher.
