Mrs. Bush's Pet Show

Mrs. Bush's Personal Care Home is looking for animals to participate in the sixth annual Pet Show on Aug. 7 at 2 p.m.

Animals are welcome with current updated shot records. Many prizes will be awarded for different categories and there is no fee to enter, but they ask that you bring along a pet item to donate to a local shelter (food, bedding, etc.).

Some categories will include smallest and largest pet, most talented, unique and many more.

St. Matt's VBS

St. Matthew's UCC will hold Vacation Bible School Monday, July 30 through Friday, Aug. 3 from 9-11:30 a.m. for children ages preschool and up.

They will be learning about Daniel and how to learn how to talk to God through stories, song, crafts and games. The children will be able to visit a Biblical marketplace.

Donate clothing

Hunter Deihl is still looking for donations of gently used and clean clothing in children, men and women's sizes for his senior class project.

This also includes coats and shoes. He needs to have the items by Aug. 5.

You can drop off these items at St. Matthew's all next week, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and Sunday, 8-11:30 a.m.
