A favor please
Dear Editor:
When you're driving on a country road
And may be running late
Please remember it's a country road
And not an interstate.
When folks who live near country roads
Are working on the grass
Or trimming trees and raking up
They're praying as you pass.
When folks who live near country roads
(And you may be one too)
Are driving they forget sometimes
A more kind thing to do.
So may they ask a favor
Though you hat "The Right of Way"
If you could just slow down a bit
You'd really make they day.
They're asking you this favor ...
When their mower-motor's hummin'
They'll gladly give you "Right of way"
But they "CAN'T HEAR YOU COMMIN'!
