Conservation Club

The Nesquehoning Conservation Club will start their fall meetings beginning Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Maple Shade Meadows, 50 E. Locust St. There are important matters to be discussed and all members are being asked to attend. Please remember to bring Redner's Save-A-Tapes.

St. Paul's at a glance

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 123 W. White St., would like to remind the congregation that the worship service will return to the original time of 10:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 2.

The worship service on Sunday will be lead by Rev. Marjorie Keiter with Vicar Ben Seibert being welcomed to St. Paul's. Vicar Seibert is a student at Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and will serve a one year internship at St. Paul's and Zion's in Nesquehoning.

Sunday school classes will begin on Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.

The Congregational Council will meet at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11.
