Police investigate burglary in Effort

State police at Fern Ridge were summoned at 4:29 p.m. Jan. 5 to investigate a burglary on the 1300 block of Grand Mesa Drive in Sierra View, Effort.

Police said two men entered the residence by forcing open the rear rood. The crime was witnessed by a neighbor who called police. When the police arrived, the burglars fled out the front door of the residence.
