Believers Baptism

On Sunday, Oct. 14, at 10:45 a.m., the Slatington Baptist Church, 509 Main St., will hold a Believers Baptism for five individuals. The event is open to the public. A reception will follow.

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will hold a board meeting at 7 p.m. this evening at the Skeet Club.

Lions celebrating birthdays are Lloyd Hopkins, Jr. (Oct. 10) and Chip Hausman (Oct. 11).
