Work still needed
Much work remains to be done on the trail at the West End Regional Park. Work is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 25 from 1:30-6 p.m.

Reformation Sunday
Many area churches, among them Zion Lutheran in Brodheadsville, will celebrate Reformation Sunday on Sunday, Oct. 28. At that church, a social will follow the 10:30 a.m. service.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Effort UMC Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet from 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30. This will be a work session.
Touch of Home meets
Operation: Touch of Home will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the American Legion Post Home on Route 209.

Driver Safety
The AARP Driver Safety refresher course is being offered at the Chestnuthill Park Building in Brodheadsville, on Saturday, Nov. 3, beginning at 1 p.m. It is the four-hour class, open to those who have proof of having had the eight-hour class in the past 36 months.
