Credit defaults

The following actions were filed by credit card companies, or their collection agencies, for alleged defaults on credit card/loan accounts.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, of Norfolk, Va., filed three actions as follows: Amy J. Gellock, 96 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, seeking $2,318.09; Sarah M. Zappola, 1011 Indian Mountain Lakes, Albrightsville, seeking $5,733.92; and Mary Bokeko, 420 School St., Jim Thorpe, seeking $6,790.19.

Discover Bank, New Castle, Del., filed against Brenda M. Green, 119 Hilltop Lane, Lehighton, seeking $10,835.22.

LVNV Funding, Scranton, filed two actions as follows: Steven Wagner, 270 Highland Hill Rd., Lehighton, seeking $1,393.54; and Mary Romanek, 3426 Buck Mountain Rd., Weatherly, seeking $8,805.12.

Divorces started

Denise Ader, 217 Seventh St., Weatherly, filed against Lawrence P. Ader Jr., 932 Country Place Drive, Tobyhanna. They were married July 2, 2005.

Kimberly M. Binder, 342 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford, filed against Jason R. Binder, 398 Long Run Rd., Lehighton. They were married July 10, 2001.

Car loans defaults

Ford Motor Credit Company, 1335 S. Clearview Ave., Mesa, Ariz., filed a complaint against Rhiannon A. Stallone, 2 Eurana Ave., Weatherly, alleging she defaulted on a motor vehicle retail installment loan. Sought is $1,923.21, plus interest, costs, and fees.

Condor Capital Corp., 800 S. Oyster Bay Rd., Hicksville, N.Y., filed an action against Chad Barnes, 100 Sekani Trail, Albrightsville, alleging he defaulted on a auto loan. Sought is $15,073.80 plus interest, costs, and fees.
