Historical society meeting
The Polk Township Historical Society will meet on Monday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Polk Township Municipal Building in Kresgeville.

Meet Your Friends Night
Pleasant Valley Intermediate School will be holding a Meet Your Friends Night for fourth grade on Friday, Nov. 4 from 3:45-6 p.m. in the school gym. Please make sure to pick up your children promptly.

Don't forget to set your clocks back for DST on Sunday, Nov. 4. It's spring forward, fall back.
Missing scarecrows
If anyone is missing a family of five scarecrows, a mama, papa and three little ones, contact Lila Mae and Alton Kleintop. They woke up Tuesday morning after Sandy blew through Gilbert and found them in their driveway. Call (610) 681-4542.
