St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, is observing All Saints Sunday with a special ceremony of remembrance. All those who wish to remember their deceased dear ones are welcome to participate beginning at 8:45 Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome.

The Nesquehoning Conservation Club will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Maple Shade Meadows, 50 E. Locust St.

Coaldale

Scouting for Food

Coaldale Cub Pack 740 will be Scouting for Food in the Coaldale/Lansford area on Nov. 3. Scouts will leave plastic bags for neighbors soliciting canned food items. On Nov. 10, the Scouts will return to pick up and deliver the bags of food to the local food banks.
