Thanks to the voters

Dear Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the voters of Carbon County for coming out to the polls on election day to make their voices heard.

While almost nobody got every result that they wanted, we must all applaud the voter turnout that occurred on November 6th. I hope that ALL of the voters in our great county continue to vote in each and every election, both primary and general elections, since this is how we will get candidates who are willing to work together for the greater good.

Furthermore, I hope that all of our elected officials are able to do what is right for their constituent's wallets. In these trying economic times we need to make sure that we have people in office who are able to effectively manage their budgets and not pass the buck or raise taxes without doing their due diligence.
