PV Women's Club

The Panther Valley Women's Club will hold its monthly meeting at the Viennese Villa Restaurant on Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. The evening will include special guests from the Tamaqua Community Arts Center performing Christmas carols. Church offers free meals

Christ the Redeemer Church, 151 Third St., Coaldale, will offer free meals to the public on Tuesday, Dec. 18; Thursday, Dec. 20; and Thursday, Dec. 27. For more information, contact Pastor Marie Terry at (570) 645-6121.

Summit Hill

Food Pantry

The Summit Hill Food Pantry will be open Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. This will be the Christmas pick-up as the fourth Tuesday is Christmas Day. Please bring extra strong bags as bags will not be supplied. There is to be no parking before 9:45 a.m. in the alley and no parking whatsoever on the private lot behind the pantry.
