Bloodmobile

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Memorial Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 1-6 p.m. Donors should be 17 years of age and older.

Fire company party

The Diligent Fire Company will hold its annual children's Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 22, starting at 1 p.m. It is open to youngsters up to the age of 10.

Olde Tyme Christmas

The Sunday School of St. John's Lutheran Church, Heights, will hold an Olde Tyme Christmas celebration on Sunday, Dec. 23, beginning at 4 p.m. The children of the Sunday School will present recitations and songs. Afterward, there will be a covered dish meal, as well as a birthday cake for Jesus.

Each family is asked to bring an item to share. Following the meal, the evening will end with a Christmas pageant by the children and words from the Rev. Peter Muhr, pastor.
