Call claiming to be IRS is a fraud

State police at Lehighton are investigating a case where a call made to a Lehighton man by someone claiming to be from the Internal Revenue Service ended up being a fraud.

The resident from Preacher's Camp Road, Towamensing Township, reported he received the call at 9:15 a.m. Jan. 20 by someone claiming to be from the IRS.
