Slatington Woman's Club announces Girl of the Month for December

Samantha Corcoran of Slatington has been announced as the Slatington Woman's Club Girl of the Month for December.
A senior at Northern Lehigh Area High School, Corcoran's list of activities include: Cross Country (captain), Track & Field, Soccer, Interact Club (treasurer), vice president of senior class, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Spanish Club and Peer Helpers
She has been named as a Consistent Principal's List Contender and was named as 2010 Northern Lehigh High School Most Outstanding Cross Country Runner and 2011 Northern Lehigh High School Most Outstanding Track Athlete and 2010 PIAA Cross Country State Championship Meet Qualifier.
Her other Interests include photography and bike riding.
Samantha hopes to attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado, majoring in History. Then, hopefully become a judge advocate in the United States Air Force.
Samantha is the daughter of Theresa and James Corcoran. She has an older brother, Jonathon.
