Named to Dean's list at Penn State Univ.

Dane DeWire, son of Raymond and Nadine DeWire of Clamtown, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester at Pennsylvania State University.

The 2011 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School earned a 4.0 grade point average, majoring in Civil Engineering.

DeWire was in the top ten in the TAHS Class of 2011 and was awarded the Air Products and Chemicals Award, the James D. Collins Memorial Scholarship, the Arnold Delin Award, the John E. Morgan Scholarship and the James R. Freed Memorial Award.
