Northern Lehigh, Marian, Panther Valley and Palmerton posted girls basketball victories on Tuesday.

No. Lehigh-Salisbury

Aimee Oertner had a game-high 19 points to lead Northern Lehigh to a 42-39 Colonial League victory over Salisbury.

With the Bulldogs (8-8, 5-6) leading by a point, Jessica Olewine canned two free-throws with :02 left to secure the win.

Megan Hrebik had 18 points to lead Salisbury.

Marian's Kaysi McLaughlin lit up the scoreboard, nailing eight three-pointers, in a 65-39 Schuylkill League win over Schuylkill Haven.

McLaughlin finished with 29 points to lead the Fillies (12-4, 8-1). Kelly Shober added 18 points and Gabby Green chipped in eight.

Sarah Celani poured in 19 points for the Hurricanes.

Kelsey Hay had 15 of her game-high 23 points in the first half to lead Palmerton to a 53-36 Colonial League victory over Palisades.

The Bombers' Jade Farquhar had a nice game, scoring 19 in a supporting role.

Sam Sharo was the lone Pirate in double figures, as she led her team with 10.

Palmerton won the JV game, 35-26.

Christina Perles led the Red Raiders with 16 points.

For Weatherly (3-13), Alexis Boyarski led the way with a team-high seven points.

Lourdes also won the JV contest, 47-29, despite eight points from the Wreckers' Tea Heister.

Palisades-Palmerton

Palisades pulled away in the second quarter for an 11-point lead and widened it in the third quarter en route to a 58-51 Colonial League win over Palmerton.

Zach Orecchio scored eight of his 13 points in the first half to lead the Pirates (3-14, 2-10), while Alden Mueller added 11.

Brett Snyder nailed six- three-pointers and finished with a game-high 21 points for the Blue Bombers (1-14, 0-11). Tyler Svetik chipped in with 11.

Palmerton posted a 37-27 win in the JV game as Logan Lesher had 11 points.

Conner Hughes sparked the Crusaders' offensive with a game-high 25 points.

The Tigers' Jared Binder recorded double figures with 11 points.

In the JV game, Notre Dame posted a 52-46 win.

East Stroudsburg South pulled out a 63-56 overtime victory over Pleasant Valley in Mountain Valley Conference action.

The Cavaliers got a big three-pointer from Max Mercado in the extra period while holding Peasant Valley to just a single point.

Kwame Simmons led East Stroudsburg South with 16 points.

For Pleasant Valley (9-6, 6-2), Marquis Brown led a balanced attack with 18 points. Nick Stanovick and Selwyn Wright added 16 and 15 points respectively.

Tamaqua lost a back and forth contest to North Schuylkill 47-41.

The Blue Raiders (11-3) were led by Matt Minchhoff's 18 points. Zach Coleman and Russel Blaker scored 10 and 9 points respectively.

Tamaqua-Pottsville

Tamaqua got a big win Tuesday night defeating the previously unbeaten Pottsville Crimson Tide 32-24.

Zach Coleman led the Blue Raiders (12-3) with 14 points and Matt Minchhoff helped out with 10.
