Silberline names new chief technology officer

Silberline Manufacturing Co., Inc., the global supplier of effect pigments with its Corporate Headquarters in Tamaqua, announced the appointment of Dr. Hai-Hui Lin to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry from the University of Toronto in Canada. In his 10-year career in the specialty chemical industry, Dr. Lin has served with a number of successful global companies. Most recently, Dr. Lin served as Global Portfolio Leader of Enabling Technologies at Momentive, a leading global supplier of performance materials and specialty chemicals. In his new role at Silberline, Dr. Lin will have responsibility for refreshing and balancing the company's technology portfolio. In addition to his role as CTO, Dr. Lin will also serve as a member of the company's Global Operating Board. Dr. Lin and his family will be relocating to the Allentown area.
