Victim believes son stole guns from home

State police at the Lehighton barracks were summoned to a Lower Towamensing Township residence on Fridayto investigate the theft of firearms from a residence.

The incident happened at 1855 Little Gap Road, where the victim is a 74-year-old Palmerton man.

Police said he told them he believes his son, 43, of Palmerton, stole the guns from the residence between Jan. 1 and 31.
