Jim Thorpe couple wed 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard J. Klepper, Jim Thorpe, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They were married on April 28, 1962 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights, Bethlehem by the late Rev. Msgr. Francis Gilley.

Mrs. Klepper is the former Frances Marie Kopas, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kopas of Bethlehem. Mr. Klepper is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Klepper, Hellertown.

The couple have four children: Sheri Fletcher, Richard Klepper II, Daneen Fortner and Venice Klepper. They have four grandchildren: James Fortner, Adeline Rosen, Kari Fortner, and Michael Klepper. They have two great-grandchildren: Connor Rosen and Levi Rosen.
