Auburn man defrauded of $200
State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a theft/forgery incident that happened between 9-9:15 a.m., Dec. 29, in the City of Pottsville.
The victim is Robert Dean Steffie, 59, of Auburn.
He told police someone used one of his personal checks in order to defraud him of $200 at the Union Bank and Trust Company in the city.
