Want to be a millionaire?
Editor,
Once again it's that time of the year when Publisher's Clearing House is going to make someone a millionaire!
Judging by their advertising, that means "hurry and get your entry in or you may forfeit your winnings!"
For many years I entered the contest, mainly because the product I requested was something I could use or needed, not hoping or thinking I would be chosen for the "big one."
But about five years ago I was sent a statement I was to sign and return because I had won a big prize for $100 to $1,000 ... a definite winner without a doubt! After several letters I wrote to Publishers Clearing House, I received no response.
I wonder, after receiving letters to enter - maybe two or three times weekly for 20 years - why I have not received any "lucky envelopes" for five years?
Strange, isn't it?
So, buyer beware! Your dreams may also go up in smoke!
Sincerely,
Paul Martin,
Lehighton
