Police cite two in Tobyhanna

Christopher Polanco and Tawk Smith, both 19 and from Scranton, were arrested by Pocono Mountain Regional Police after an incident on Jan. 14 in Tobyhanna.

Police said they were arrested for underage drinking after police stopped their vehicle.

Police said they were initially called to a fight in progress, reportedly involving 20 individuals, at F330 Boardwalk Drive in Tobyhanna. Police were advised the participants of the fracas dispersed before police arrived. Police later identified the vehicle in which Polanco and Smith were passengers and stopped it on Rt. 196, near Thornapple Lane.
