Two from Kelayres charged with theft

Two people from Kelayres have been charged in connection with the theft of a purse from the Hometown Commons Wal-Mart on Dec. 30.

Marah Walter, 23, and Andrew Danko, 23, were charged with theft, receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy to commit theft and access device fraud. The charges were filed by Rush Township Police.

When questioned, the duo admitted going to Wal-Mart with the intention of stealing a purse. They also used a credit card they obtained in an earlier theft.
